Full tilt

I have a few memories of Tribhuvannatha Prabhu, When I was staying at the manor I saw tribhuvannatha prabhu in the car park one evening trying to get a car into the back of a truck and ship the truck over to Africa. the back of the truck was about 4 feet off the ground, he was tring different things to get the car in. the next morning Tribhuvannatha prabhu was not at mongal arti which he usually was at that time. during japa i decided to go outside to chant and saw Tribhuvannatha in the car park. hed been there all night and was still trying to get this car in to the back of the truck. Hed gone over to the local gypsies and got them to come out at 5 in the morning with a low loader. The gypsies at that time were causing some troubles at the temple but Tribhuvannatha had gone to their site alone, early in the morning, woke them up and convinced them to help him!!! Everyone loved him, even the ruffians. So he had these two skinny planks going from the back of the gypsies low loader up onto the back of his truck and he was reversing the car off the lowloader up these planks and into the truck. it was a really dangerous manouvere. He did it fearlessly but any slight mistake and the car would have fallen about 3 or 4 feet off the planks. He then told me he was going to now take the truck with the car in the back to the docks and ship it to africa. I asked if i could come and he kindly agreed. So we set off straight away. He didn't even seem to consider lack of sleep or prasad. On the way he listened to his minidisc player and told me he was making a point of listening to five lectures of srila Prabhupada daily. He didn't seem tired at all even though hed spent the whole night struggling to load the car into this truck. The journey was a few hours and during that ride tribhuvannatha told me some amazing stories. I asked him if he had ever had any dreams of Krishna and he told me of three dreams he had. the first was that in the dream he had gone into Srila Prabhupada's darshan room at the manor and Srila Prabhupada had been sitting there behind his desk. He paid obeisances and when he sat up srila Prabhupada was sitting with his chin up high and his index finger pointing up wards, and he said to Tribhuvannatha prabhu, "The problem is, they think i am not here" Tribhuvannatha then turned to me in the cab and said, "Prabhupada is still here, he's more here than me and you" the second dream Tribhuvannatha prabhu said he was running through some woods one time, calling for krishna "Krishna! Krishnaaa"!, he was running after krishna, trying to find him but He never saw Him in the dream. he then said to me, "We have to chase after krishna, Chant krishna!, read Krishna!, Krishna krishna"!!! the last dream he told me was again in Prabhupadas room, Prabhupada told him to go and fetch some gold coins, and the whole dream tribhuvannatha was searching all over for some gold coins for Prabhupada.
I asked him about how he joined and he told me many stories which i believe other devotees have already written above, he did tell one story which is perhaps not so well known and that was that he had a girlfriend at the time when he joined, and he was so fired up when he moved in the temple that he just forgot about her. so she eventually tracked him down and turned up at the temple. One devotee said "Prabhu, theres a girl here to see you" Tribhuvannatha was in saffron by that time so he said "i don't want to speak to her" She wouldn't leave without seeing him so tribhuvannatha relented and came down to speak to her. during the conversation he asked her "do you believe in God"? she looked confused and said "what"? Tribhuvannatha asked her again and she said "no" Then he said "You must be a demon then" she started crying and left. Tribhuvanntha laughed in the cab of the truck and said to me "That was the end of that relationship"!
We had to get a coach back from the docks to London and then a tube to edgeware where we were picked up by a devotee Jim Prabhu. Tribhuvannatha chanted all the way back and slept a little. Then on the tube this was late about 11pm now, Tribhuvannatha said to me, "i don't count any of these rounds when im travelling" I'll chant my 25 rounds when i get back to Jim and Helens, which was where he was staying at that time. So he must have got back about midnight, chanted all his rounds, then sure enough he was at mongal arotik the next day at the manor!!! He must have slept for 2 hours after staying all all night previousley trying to load up the car into the truck. Tribhuvannatha Prabhu Ki Jaya!!!!
